I've tried just about every permutation of the argument for the FROM SCOPE() clause in my query to the Indexing service, and none seem to work. I have a directory, policy, in the Web catalog that I'm trying to search in.
These are the errors I get:
FROM SCOPE('DEEP TRAVERSAL OF ("policy")') End of statement expected
FROM SCOPE('("policy")') End of statement expected
FROM SCOPE('DEEP TRAVERSAL OF ("C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\policy\")') Character constant must contain exactly one character
FROM SCOPE('DEEP TRAVERSAL OF ('C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\policy\')') Incorrect syntax near '''. Expected URL. SQLSTATE=42000
FROM SCOPE("/policy") Name 'policy' is not declared.
FROM SCOPE('DEEP TRAVERSAL OF "/policy"') Name 'policy' is not declared.
I'm assuming there's something I missed elsewhere, because I cannot make heads or tails of these messages.
