I just converted my first 2003 project to 2005, and I'm having problems running it locally. It is for our company website, and contains include files that pull in HTML, images, style sheets, etc, to generate our company template around the pages.
The include files are in a directory just under the root of the site, and my application resides two directories down. In 2003 I used <!--#include file="../../includes/include.htm" --> to include the files, and it worked fine locally and on our test and
In 2005 this code still works on our test (and I assume production) servers, but not in local mode. The include files seem to be executing, because the basic template is being built, but none of the images are loading and the style sheets are not working
I have noticed that the address for all of the images is now
http://localhost:1652/images/ instead of http://localhost/images/ as it used to be under 2003. I don't know if the additional :1652 is causing the address to not resolve or if I have another problem.
Has anyone else run into this problem, and is there a solution for it? Right now I'm having to move my application to the test server just to see what it looks like in the company template. Thanks in advance for your help!

when u run the application from the vs2005 solution it runs on asp.net webdevelopment server(F5).
I would like to suggest you to create a virtual directory in IIS mapping to your application and run it from that virtual directory.. i think this should load all the images etc rightly...

I'm having the same problem with include tags in ASP. Why does VS 2005 care about include tags?
I am running on IIS 5.1 in a virtual directory.
