I am running dnn4. My site has been running solid for at least month. All of the sudden this morning, I get this:
The Assembly Version ( [ASSEMBLYVERSION] ) does not match the Database Version ( [DATABASEVERSION] )
ERROR: Could not connect to database.
An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error:
40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)
I can access the database thru Enterprise Manager without any problems.

It lloks like a hosting issue. I can't even get in to my "Control Panel" at Blazernetworks.com. Their site doesn't even come up.

It looks as if it is a hosting issue. Yesterday, I called and emailed them (blazernetwork.com) with no response. Their website is down. Now if I call, there is a messge stating that there is an emergency management team in place. Due to the degraded conditions
that the server clusters were left in, thet are re-configuring all clusters and all should be restored over the next day. If I didn't call, I wouldn't have known.
I hope this will be an improvement. I'm just glad I had no production sites on this host.
