Are you going to be doing a complete conversion of DNN 2.1.2 to C# ? That would be great. There was/is another project focused strictly on converting just the Core to C#, the rest (all bazillion dependancy projects like dataprovider, scheduler, and modules,
were never converted, at least for 3.x. You may look at the archives for that project to see if they did more with DNN 2.1.2.

In that case, you are in luck as I have a dataprovider class written in C#. It is really quite simple to convert: just copy & paste any code you wish to convert into SharpDevelop IDE, on the tools menu, select 'Convert Buffer to VBNet/C#' and whalah ...

Which is a simple module to list the portals a user belongs to. It uses DNN's built in functions I believe, but has a simple dataprovider implementation.
