I've installed DNN 03.02.02 under XP Pro using MSDE 2000 and IIS5 with .Net 1.1 installed on my local machine (a laptop). Permissions shouldn't be a problem - after many failed attempts I've given, IUSR, IWAM, ASPNET and Everyone Full access on the whole
partition. The install appears to succeed (see bottom) but below the listing I get this odd eror message...
I've done this several times restarting IIS and rebooting in between tries and the dll name appears to vary randomly. When I do click on the link to the portal, the logo image cannot be located and a placeholder appears in its place.
I need to get this running as a matter of urgency (like yesterday) so any help with this will earn my undying gratitude.

Your portal is installed and ready to go.
What's not configured correctly are the permissions for the C:\Windows\Temp or C:\WinNT\Temp directories (the %systemroot%\Temp folder). Grant the Network Service account write permissions to them.

You were absolutely right - the portal is now up and running and you have earned my undying gratitude!
