IDisposable -- you are using the code from the Beta 1 (4/27) version and not Beta 1.1 (4/29) -- we have removed persistentImage.ashx from the codebase and suggest that people not use it. Please upgrade to the new beta 1.1 drop of the adapters.

IDisposable - because there are potentially serious security issues hidden inside. Unfortunately, that .ashx file was the reason we had to pull the kit originally. We are looking at a potential update to it.
