I have solution created form my company previously by a developer. I installed vs2003 & have to fix the web app system & most importantly be able to debug it(it has lots of .asp and some single .aspx files coexisting). The problem is I can access the IIS6
and I can open single files, but when I try to open the solution over the network, it gives me the "Web Access Failed" message.
The default Web access mode for this project is set to file share, but the project folder at 'https://www.dir1.net/foo' cannot be opened with the path 'www.dir1.net\wwwroot$\foo'. The error returned was :
Unable to open Web project 'foo'. The Web 'foo' located on server 'https://www.dir1.net' does not exist.
What would you like to do?
(radio)Retry using different file share path
Location: some location
(radio)Try to open the project with FrontPage Server Extensions
