I have found many post on this issue and I tried almost every solution. I am getting webadmin.axd not found error. I have read that Microsoft has removed that functionality in the final release for security reasons. I have already tried creating virutal
directory pointing to C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\ASP.NETWebAdminFiles and opening http:\\localhost\webadmin\default.aspx? and it didnt work. My question is when users try to register, they get the message their account will be created upon
administrator approval. So where does that information get stored (which sql table?) And i can not figure out how to access their account information inorder to approve it. This is what I like to achieve, I like to log in on as administrator, go under manage
user and approve all the pending requests directly from the internet. I have w2k3 server, iis 6.0, and hosting on c:\inetpub\wwwroot folder.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated....

You wont be able to login over the interent and approve users without implementing a custom user management page. You can download my source code if you wish and copy my user management page and usermanager class and use it with your site.
The approval field for a user is located in the aspnet_Membership table. The field is called IsApproved.

You might consider downloading my modified Personal Site Kit. It contains many enhancements as well as a user management page for managing users online. You can use my whole project or just extract the users page and usermanager class.

You might try downloading the code. Then run the Users.aspx.vb code and the UserManager.vb code through an online conversion tool like:
There are several of these online. Sometimes it doesn't work or doesn't work very well. However, I can almost always fix the issues that are left after convertion. Sometimes I have to do one procedure at a time.
On the other hand, maybe I could give it a try. :)

Sorry. I guess if I went to your site and read it first I would have known the answer to that question

I will enable your account now. Something to note is that I'm almost done with blog categories. Currently blog posts will just continue down the page and all posts will be shown unless they are flagged as deleted. I am almost finished with blog categories
where a list of categories associated with blog entries will be shown on the left. When a user starts a new session on the site, the 5 most recent entries will be shown regardless of category and will continue to show unless the user clicks a category.
