I’ve been struggling with a VS 2005 web site problem.
When I try to open a particular web site, the conversion wizard opens and wants to convert the project.
The solution or project you are opening was created in a previous version of Visual Studio.
It must be converted to the format used by this version…
I’ve been using this site for months in VS 2005, and there have been no changes that should cause this as far as I know.
I tried running through the conversion, which does not appear to convert anything.
Then the dialog box comes up again. I have tried:
Deleting the solution files I have
Recreating the site by getting the latest version from Source Safe
Opening from IIS and the file system
Deleting any registry keys under projectmrulist in the registry
Nothing seems to make any difference.
So now this project is inaccessable to me because the I’ve also searched for solutions to this and did not find anything.
Can anyone help?

Nick, Sorry to hear your having trouble with conversion wizard.
Could you check if you have a project file in the web folder? It could be the SCC bringing that down each time.
