Does MPS work across domains in a hosted solution ? Also if it doesnt do that, is there an alternate method to go across domains using a Single MPS server and maybe some additional scripts ?

What do you want to do exactly?
In my case HMC is deployed in dedicated AD forest. This forest trusts to our internal forest where all pre-HMC hosting infrastructure resides (web hosting, legacy e-mail hosting, SQL hosting, control panels, sign-up
pages, etc.). In internal forest we have very special user which is used to impersonate all provisioning requests to MPS server in HMC forest. This user has been added to different ACL’s in HMC forest (AD, MPS SQL, Exchange, etc) to have rights similar to
Domain Admins (but not exactly the same) for HMC forest.

We currently have 1 MPS server which we are planning to use for both the shared and the dedicated setup. My Question is if i deploy this in the Shared AD forest, can the same MPS server be used for provisioning and other functions for the dedicated AD Forest.
Probably MPS can provision services in different forests, but MS solution for HMC assumes that all hosted users reside in OU=Hosting.
If this will not work, can we have a AD forest ( Staging Area perhaps ) where we can just classify both shared and dedicated customers into multiple OU's and have an internal AD which can be used to host the customers once the MPS does its job on the staging
Check "Customer Directory Integration Service" section in solution. May be MIIS is what you need.
