Are you using SQL Express on your development machine? Did you change your connection strings?
This thread may be helpful. http://forums.asp.net/1196275/ShowPost.aspx

How are you copying the site to your hosting company? Are you sure that you are getting all the files? Sounds like there is a Class file missing. On the page that gives you the error in the ObjectDataSource1 control there will be a TypeName property,
this property represents an actual Class in your project somewhere. It is either not being compiled and moved to your hosting company or the class file is not being moved depends on how you are deploying your site.

Hey, I was able to get most of the site to work. Thanks to your reply. I had two issue that was causing the last error. One was I was missing a file in the temp directory. I seems as it did not get copyed up. The second was my connection string for the
personal database. I had an 0 on the end of the port.
As of now I am not able to log in to members area. I get a runtime error. below is my connection string. Just so I understand. The LOCALSQLSERVER is where all the regesterd user info is stored? As I can't debug the code unless I call my webhosting company
because they don't allow remote debuging. So all I see is the runtime error. However In VS2005 it is telling me that something is wrong with web.config. ERROR MESSAGE:
Error 1 It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS. D:\Documents and Settings\chris\Local Settings\Temp\VWDWebCache\gardensatgantz.org.26.m6.net\gardensatgantz.org\gardensatgantz.org\web.config 12
I called and made sure that the admin area was set up as an virtual directory.
