I was not sure if people knew that you can use Advanced Datagrid with XMod forms. Just like with XMod Remote Data, you just create the Select using similar syntax as that below.
SELECT top 3
dbo.KB_XMod_ExtractFieldValue(InstanceData,'TeacherName') as TeacherName,
dbo.KB_XMod_ExtractFieldValue(InstanceData,'SchoolName') as SchoolName,
WHERE FormID=2 AND (InstanceData LIKE '%<Featured>Y%')
order by newid()
The order by newid() pulls back random records on each query of the data.
You ADG users might have already known this, but this just adds to the usefulness of the ADG and XMod
The problem I am having is that ADG works on DNN 3.1 but not on DNN 3.2.1. This is the same issue I am having with XMod Remote Data. I can install the PA fine but when I try to add a module to a page I get the following error.
