I don't want to put you off, but before upgrading check for any possible problems you might encounter. I wish I had looked more thoroughly before first.
I thought the task of upgrading would be quite simple, which indeed it is and I understand it is often quite smooth and painless. I could give you the steps to follow, but I don't think I am the person to advise you.
I spent days trying to sucessfully upgrade to DNN 3.2.2 . I was not prepared for the array of difficulties I encountered
I found it to be too problematic and reverted back.

I recently Upgraded from 3.1.0 to 3.2.2 and here are my observations:
I did this last night, and had a successful upgrade. The ObjectQualifier was the key that made it for me. If I forgot that, everything blows up.

Yes, the object/qualifer "blank" was stopping my site reloading. Just added the necessary, and up she came again 3.2.2 version.
Ps.. Reason i updated was that i found the Gallery & Repository modules (www.dotnetnuke.com) would not upload to server/site.....Do you know the reason why?

Thanks for the warning. Forturnately, all seems to have gone well, except for the fact that i can't add/delete/edit any pages!!!!!!!! (although modules can be added/deleted/edited???????)
Existing content is fine, as went the upgrade, but page management returns the following error message:-
Error: Page Management is currently unavailable.
