in visual studio 2003 I had created some classes of my own and in the project had them in their own directories
eg Componets ->BusinessLogic->EBSUser
to use these classes in my web app I added the directive
so I could do this
EBSUser CurrentEBSUser =
and it worked fine. In visual studio 2005 I now get an error
the type or namespace EBSOnline could not be found
anyone any ideas why this no longer works ?

It seems you are missing reference to EBSOnline.Components.BusinessLogic.EBUser
Have you added teh class library as teh reference to Website?

Only App_Code is automatically referenced by code-behind files.You need to add <%Reference tag to the page for adding reference.

can you give me some examples ? I have a class that holds user information, I need to be able to create an instance of this class on a page. In asp.net 1 I simply created a folder and placed my classes in there, I then referenced this folder in the code
then in my page I created an instance of the class
this worked perfectly well in 2003, but wont in 2005, I cant understand what could have changed..
