I have some experience with this as well. I've also dealt with using a PHP client to consume a webservice using through a WSDL using a hashed password option.
Let me know if you still need help.

Yes, I'm still interested in learning how to do this. Where do I start? I already have my ASP.NET web service. In fact now that .NET 3.0 is released I might switch it to an WCF Service, but that may not even matter, as I'm told the two are pretty compatible.
Thanks for your offer to help. I look forward to your response.

me too i'm interested in that subject. Indeed there's no article describing how a java,php, coldfusion or any... can interact with WSE 3.0 .net web services. For that, i even hesitate to work with it, cause i'm not sure if it is really interoperanble or
simply intended for .net clients cause i also found a WSE 3.0 runtime... !? i'm really confused...
help would be really appreciated thx in advance.

Anyone can share your knowledge? We have a WSE 3.0 asp.net web services, our ColdFusion client needs to consume it.

I am trying to create PHP client which consume the ASP.NET webservice.I have one web method that will returns the array of bytes as value.
My wsdl mapping this data type as Base64Binary value only.But I could not see the Binary string or something blah..blah string to decode them and utilise them in PHP.
I am naive to PHP.What should I do now to get encoded binary string in order to use in my PHP client ?
$client = new soapclient('http://localhost/website1/Service.asmx?WSDL','wsdl');
This will shows only the word Array.

It is a good sign that it shows the word "Array", since this means the webservices is connecting properly and getting the result. Let me first mention some debugging ways here.
For debugging and trace , you need to do the following
//Set trace to 1 while its 0 by default
//Location of wsdl
//Initialize client with this option
$client = new SoapClient($wsdl,$option);
//Call any function in the webservice using
$client->GenerateReport($parameters);// Parameters to include only if you need to pass any value.
Next, you can trace your request and response as follows:-
echo "LAST REQUEST WAS:<br>" .htmlentities($client->__getLastRequest()). "\n";
echo "LAST RESPONSE WAS:<br>" .htmlentities($client->__getLastResponse()). "\n";
echo "<br><br>LAST REQUEST HEADER WAS:\n" .htmlentities($client->__getLastRequestHeaders()) . "\n";
echo "<br><br>LAST RESPONSE HEADER WAS:\n" .htmlentities($client->__getLastResponseHeaders()) . "\n";
To answer your question of how to see the value, check the values for the response array and you would know what array to print.
You can print any array in php using print_r($arr);// $arr= $client->Generatereport();
If any one needs help, share the location of the wsdl or the asmx file and I can then recommend some option
