Are you using your own server or a Hosting service? If a Hosting service, do they support SQL Express?

My Hosting server does not supporte SQL Sever Express.
But, Is it possible to create an USER and PASSWORD for the database wich are in the personnal starter kit, and then use a connectionstring like
connectionString="Data Source=localhost;Initial Catalog=personal;USER id=xx;password=xxx">
Thanks for your help

Ok thanks for your answer.
My hosting service permit me to have only 1 SQL server database. But in the personnal strater kit the is to database. Is there a possibility to group the 2 database into 1 ?

You can combine the two databases using this tool C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\aspnet_regsql.exe
See my post here about doing this.

So are you getting the error on your development machine where SQL Express is, or on the server where SQL 2000 server is located?

I don't really know anything about this error and there is was only about 5 hits when googling the exact phrase "Invalid value for key attachdbfilename", so I'm just taken shots in the dark here.
Do you have SP4 installed for your Windows 2000 server?

Something you may want to consider trying; register and download my source code from my website and try to set it up on your server. If it runs then we know there is an issue with your site. If you get the same error after configuring permissions and IIS,
then the issue is most likely on your server.
