That is the problem :-)
* I have a IHttpHandler implementation I route all requests through.
* Some of these requests need session state, some do not. I know that in the handler. Those that need session state actually getforwarded to a normal ASPX page. That is something like a template system. Those that do not, basically return content directly
from the database, like an image.
Due to this, so far, the handler implements IRequireSessionState - with all the negative consequences.
Is there a way to not have IRequireSessionState and STILL get session state? By making a call into the session state module? By implementing our own handler factory? An ASPX page can or can not have session state - so it looks like the logic is implemented
somewhere in the factory. Anyone has pointers to some documentation?
