I am trying to reverse proxy the MPSSampleWeb site.
Can connect to it by https://www.domain.com/MPSSampleWeb
but it returns me http://www.domain.com:443/MPSSampleWeb and the site runs very slowly, sometimes not even working.
I know HTTPS is esentially the same thing as :443 but hey.
I did see some random web.config option somewhere for reverse proxy situations, not related to mps sample web..

Which reverse proxy solution are you using?
If using ISA, you should be able to publish the site using the web publishing wizard (make sure you export the certificate for the FQDN down to the ISA server so you can terminate the SSL tunnel).

I am using ISA, and have other sites reverse proxied in this way. SSL over the internet & HTTP from ISA to Web Server. They all work well.
I can set up link translation to chage to URL to whaterver i need, but remember seing some change in a web.config somewhere...
