I would like to replace standard DNN menu with flash menu. Do I need to do it in the skin? I would like to have the regular DNN menu visible when I login as host or admin. Please advise. Thanks,

You will need to hard code the menu in to do this as a dynamic flash menu is not available to my knowledge. The closest I got was working with a developer who had helped create some generically generated buttons that read the menu - there was a bit of hacking
to do, but it only created the button type menu, not a dropdown flash menu.
If you were to create a hard coded flash menu, you would simply apply it like you would a graphics element and yes that would work. I have done this on several sites.

You an apply a third party product like the
http://www.inventua.com menu so it's visible when you are logged in only - they have a top and side menu.
I have an XDAdmin menu - written by Leigh Pointer - he has for download on his site -
http://www.subzero-solutions.net and you install as a skinobject - it'sonly visible when logged in
An example of the flash is http://www.xdportalwizard.com where the mneu only appears when logged in the links are hard coded. The sound effects - I'm not sure how you would manage that but to see how to install
a flash skin you can download one of my free skins from
http://www.xd.com.au/free+skins.xd and look at how that was embedded into the site and you should have no problems using the flash in your own skin.
