This is a small matter, but something that could help dnn leap ahead of other projects in yet another way. Considering the many (perhaps most) of us view pdf files on our computers or laptops, i would like to respectfully suggest
we do away with the likely archaic paging scheme used by publishers, playrights, magazines and other printed mediums,
Number the pages exactly as they are entered into the pdf.
Seems so simple. Then a table of contents would actually be browser-agnostic, even if the browser is human. Try going to the TOC in the new DotNetNuke Installation Guide, scanning it for the "Installation of DotNetNuke 4.x",
seeing it on page 27, use the pdf pager to hit 27, .. .. nope, not there. Then scroll maually forward to find your intended target. Seems pointless, silly and old.
I realize my example is trivial, but when you do this over and over and over, it gets irritating.
And not one drop of disrepect is intended towards that actual doc mentioned nor the author, just the paradigm. Thanks for listening, drew..
