I have 3.2.2 because most hosting that I found said they had 3.x or below. But after a little experience and testing it appears that any asp.net hosting can support it if I install it. I would just have to create the MsSQL database and get the connection
string right. Some of the hosting out there just said they supported it and had a FAQ on how to do it. I mean no disrespect, but it sounds kind of gimmicky if the host doesn't actually do all the work of installation. It would really just mean that I didn't
know any better.
Am I correct on this? Do some hosting services just offer installation as a service, but in reality I can install any version on any ASP.NET hosting site as long as I have the space and MsSQL database? Thanks for any comments.

In theory you would think that any company that has ASP.NET and MsSql hosting can provide the correct environment for you.
However in reality - it can turn from enthusiasm to absolute nightmare when you have a hosting company that simply has no idea about setting up a DotNetNuke site.
Mostly I think it depends on the following -
These are the things I've found have been the sticking points between sites being setup and running correctly and being functional after it's working.
Sounds simple doesn't it.. wish it ran that smoothly all the time!
Hope this helps.
