I am creating a DNN site, where once complete the 'content editor' will be updating the text on the pages only, they will not need to create new pages and so on, this is why i am hardcoding my menu structure.
My question is that i am confused as to how i would have the menu/Sub menu highlight bolded, and be kept VISIBLE depending on the page the client has visited, example is at following link
http://www.loadedtechnologies.com/menu.jpg, how would i have "how does it work?" stay bolded in and kept down (visible) in my DNN project.
Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

If you are hard coding the whole menu -then wouldn't that be something to do with the menu that you're creating in VS or DW or however else you are coding.. It does not relate to DNN or Solpart Menu
You know how you can get these menu generators - perhaps you should be looking at those and dropping the whole code into the skin file. (I think that makes the site quite a bit larger though having worked with other third party menu apps.)
You will need to explore the functionality of the type you select to work out how to get it bolded since if you're not using solpart / dnn menu then we can't correctly advise.
