I am using DNN 3.1.1 as an Intranet site. Within my portal I have some pages and sub-pages which I would like to have some kind security added so that only ceratin registred users can view those pages/sub-pages. How would I be able to do this?

Sure - you can do this while setting up the page - or you can click the page and when active - click the *settings* button on the control panel.
It will open up the settings page - simply uncheck the button that says *all users*, and select the checkbox that says *registered users*.
If you have the modules set to copy the page defaults, they will not see the page or modules unless logged in as a registered user.

To expand on what Nina said, you can also do that down to the module level. So you can control elements on the pages as well.
