It was hard to come up with a proper title, sorry 'bout that.
Here's the situation. A customer is currently running a succesful website, under the name, say: abc.com. (not the real address!) They own this domain, and it is a very successful name with a lot of recognition. People just type this address blindly.
We're currently in the process of developing a BIG DNN portal. They'd like this to be available as:
abc.com runs on an apache server. The DNN site runs on a seperate webserver. I know I can redirect the /portal to our DNN site
What we would like to accomplish however, is that all url's for this new DNN site will look something like this: abc.com/portal/home/tabid/... etc. The goal is to make sure that optimal recognition of the domain brand is maintained
We're running IIS6 and DNN 3.2.2. Is this at all possible?
Thanks for any info you can provide,
