After I installed aso.net 2.0 whenever I try and debug a app in vs.net 2003 I get an error message saying it cant attach to the process. Has anyone else had this issue? Or has a workaround?

When you installed v2.0, you might have configured the default scriptmaps to v2.0 as well. VS 2003 cannot debug v2.0 applications, it can only debug v1.1 applications.
As a workaround, you need to configure the application you want to debug with VS 2003 to be a v1.1 application. You do it this way:
If you are using Windows 2003, create a separate app pool for it (call it "ASP.Net v1.1 AppPool" or something like that) and put the application in that app pool. If you are using Win2K or XP, skip this step.
Then run from the command line:
%windir%\microsoft.net\framework\v1.1.4322\aspnet_regiis -s w3svc/1/root/<vdir>
where <vdir> is the virtual directory name of your app. This will configure that app to be v1.1, while the rest will run in v2.0.
"aspnet_regiis -lk" shows you what apps are under what version.
