I have a new dnn intranet site which I can see from the web server but not from another machine on the internal domain. What is the proper format? the webserver name is wphois and the site alias is dnnwphois. I tried
http://wphois/dnnwphois/default.aspx and several other itterations. Are there sharing or security permissions I need to set for browsing from other domain computers? I have shared and provided file security
permisison to ASPNET and Anonymous local user accounts on web server.
Thanks for a response.

I kind of doubt that. I think you mean the server is "wphois" and the virtual folder is "dnnwphois". Because I think your problem is you didn't configure the site alias for the URL you're using.
Login as Host, Admin menu, Site Settings, Add Alias.

Have you tested with a Hello World ASPX file? No account permissions on any folders are required for intranet versus internet browsing, just the ones in the DNNdocs. If a plain HTML file works, then it's not a firewall or IIS issue.

By the way, did you set the alias as I posted originally? If not, that's the most likely cause of your problem.

Hi Jeff, thanks for the input, yes I did the aliases... I have this same issue posted in the dotnetnuke forum with a detailed explanation if you are so kind as to pick up the thread there
