OK... so i'm getting ready to install DNN in a new production site. And now I have installation options... Want a stable environment... that can keep pace with changes (in a reasonable manner).
So... I can go with .Net 1.1 or 2.0 (my ISP supports both)
DNN 3.2.0 (or maybe 3.2.2 as .1 is broke) or 4.x?
Non core modules I plan on using:
httpcompress_6 (or 6_net2)
Orizonti NukeNews 1.41
DSFCKEditor (Text/HTML replacement)
Aggregator 3.1 (Tabs)
Modified Speerio (just the font size option.. and need better images)
Possibly (depending on testing)
Gallery 03.00.11 (hoping for personal blog soon)
Going with core Events... hoping that upgrade occurs soon. Could REALLY use roll-up calendars.
Any suggestions? I'm leaning toward .Net 2 runtime... but can go either way with the core... 3.2 or 4.x... any other modules that I might find useful? Is the 4.x core as stable (more stable) than 3.2?
Thanks in advance for any comments or suggestions.

Core Team Members have fixed a few annoying bugs (gr8 job in a short time), but some modules are no longer running on 4.0.2 (e.g. Bonosoft Link 3.0.0).
I mailed the developer several times but he never replied.
Hopefully, some module creators like "tz3p9v.com" Paul Scarlett pay more attention to latest DNN releases. So keep in mind that many modules (which ones?) you appreciate will just be unusable on 4.0.2

Well, after much gnashing of teeth and banging of head, here is what I've found to be fairly stable, and working well...
I tried valiantly to make things work with .Net V2, but ran into issues with all DNN 3.2.x versions. Don't think DNN 3 and .Net2 are quite ready for prime time yet. As I get some time, I'll probably setup a V2 site and start banging away with DNN3.2.2 and
logging bugs / problems as I find them. Maybe a 2nd site with .Net2 and DNN 4.x also.
.Net 1.1 and 3.2.2 installed smoothly, and all my modules appear to be working.
So, from the posts here, and my personal experience... Go with DNN 3.2.2 and .Net 1.1 for now.
