Could anyone enlighten me if there is a way to set up membership where each member has access to only his/her own, secure information, like you have in your online banking accounts? If yes, is there an easy way to set them up? I have looked through all possible
manuals, videos, and I have found nothing on this particular matter, or it's too wast and didn't answer my question I'm looking for. Of course I might have missed this info, and if so I would appriciate someone pointing me to what I am looking for.

There is probably no easy way of setting up what you are talking about (each member having their own private portal). I would imagine there are a number of modules that would work how you want to, however.
What type of information are you talking about? Information is generally stored by a particular module. If the module is setup up to record information about a particular logged in user, then it will do so. The default modules that come with DNN are generally
more related to CMS and not to personal information storage.

People who invest money in certain things should be authenticated and be able to pull up the info about their personalized returns as well as see the general info for all subscribers/investors. The investment and return information is entered manually by
a person, as soon as the numbers (reports) become available. It would be great if you could point me to the right direction as of what module should I look for.
Thanks for your time!

You may want to look at some of the modules on snowcovered.com perhaps something like XMod could help... It sounds like you need something more custom, however.
