Yes it's something to do with the way FTB is reading the CSS file I believe - and only happens on some customised skins (you're not using the default skin are you?) By chance, I was doing some enhancements to the CSS file and cleaning them up and removed
all whitespaces I could find and so the default skins work, but if you open the CSS file of the skin and look at the way the css is formatted, removing the spaces should help.
The other alternative to get you going is to put on a default skin while in admin mode.
You can have a look around on the forums (I will too) but for the life of me - there have been so many subtle, quirky changes between these builds I can't keep up and Kirsty is spending today updating/checking all our skins to make sure they are 3.2 & 4/4.01
and 4>> 4.01 upgrade to make sure they work.
I thought developers had a hard time keeping up with modules and DNN, it looks like skinning has been affected to from various things that may or may not be from the skin itself, but behaviour around it.
I'm pretty sure that's it - but try the default skin and see if it's better.
// edit // Jeremy had the answer - I knew it - I just forgot - sorry Jeremy! [:$] I fixed up most of my skins to avoid this but I'm going to bookmark your link again.
