hi folks, just curious if anyone else has seen this issue, using 3.0.12. I have various htmltext modules that simply are a repository of copy and pasted rows from an excel spreadsheet. Sometimes there were 100+ rows, no worries worked fine. Server got hacked,
and to replace all the site files with the recent backup, and sql server was not touched. The site is fine, except those htmltext modules that display larger excel or word pastes. I can put simple text in, no worries, and even paste say 10 rows of my excel
sheet, but try hitting it with 30+ rows, and i get a sql server timeout error again and again. So the previously saved text will never display, only showing errors.
I have not seen this before, anyone else? thanks kindly, drew..

I think i would try to run SQL Profiler and see what DNN is sending - just to be sure that is right (if you have SA access to your SQL server..)
If you can't do that or it doesn't reveal anything, does the log viewer show you anything regarding the time outs?
There is a post size maximum that maybe you are hitting with lots of rows from excel? Try checking your web config for this maximum - maybe it wasn't reset after your hack/restore.
Hope this helps,
