I would like to know how i can create a website through MPS without matching FTP site. I have installed the WEB01 but without FTP service as i want to use my own FTP server (Gene6FTP). The standard namespace requires the FTP service to be available, as i
get the error 'Could not open metabase key IIS://WEB01/MSFTPSVC'
Does anyone know how i can use MPS for creating a website without FTP site?

u can create website without FTP it is possible \
Use CREATE method of IIS Provider namespace
Do not relate the Metabase error with this. It can be because of many reason, even if the MPS user cannot open the Metabase.xml file
If u can send the exact error, may be it will be helpful

Look at the windowsbasedhosting and managed webhosting namespace xml-files. You can delete / uncomment the FTP actions and parameters and import the namespaces again through provisioning manager.
