I feel UNIView module doesn't get publicity it deservers. For those that do not know let's just say it is a "building block" module to build categorized data of almost any kind with list view and detail view, search, tree-like categories, etc. (more on
www.nukedarea.com). We spent over thousand hours of development on it.
Latest version 2.03.03 is released and we tried to listen to a lot of suggestions we got in our survey. Price is discounted now, new features added, and what we would like to do now is offer a free demo to all of you out there interested in testdriving it.
We're still not willing to make it shareware so all we ask in return is a short review, good or bad :) We're looking for DNN website owneres who are willing to post it on their website or other members of this community that may post in this thread (or original
announcement thread here) their short comments.
For those interested please request a demo (with a short note where you would like to post comments) using my contact form:

I'm interested in looking at this - can I simplify what I think it is...I know you call it UNIView - but to me it seems like a dynamic catalogue builder..would I be on the right track with thinking along those lines?

I have recently bought and used Uniview and I have to say that it is a great module. Actually it is a building block for making any kind of categorization and data presentation system.

Sorry for not answering you sooner but it's a weekend a business mail is not on top of my list :) For those requesting demos you can count on me sending demos out Monday morning.
Nina, yes it can be catalogue builder too, but Agelos' description is closer - it can be used to do ANY categorized data, not just product catalogue but also accommodation, news, etc. Actually UNIView was born when one of our clients requested product catalogue,
second one requested accommodation addressbook (www.dalmatia.hr), others joined in with different variations - and we decided to do UNIversal madule for all this called UNIView. So this module was born (and is being upgraded)
with inputs from "real life" requests of our clients.
nbc,.. yes, problem with images is known bug of our free ImageView gallery. It was noticed too late because it does not show up every time. You can try switching browsers or simply close browser and try again and it will work. We're working on bugfix. If
that doesn't work, until we fix it, you can use Snowcovered page of UNIView - same images are there too.
