Not sure what you're asking, but each user in DNN gets a separate ID. Customization can be done based on that user ID. You can also do this in your custom modules, so you can write almost anything you want as far as custom presentations to your clients.

This is what I am tring to acomplish. I already have an existing database with a set of customers. Each customer has a customer_id associated with it. I need to create a portal that will expose certain functionalities to the web. I hope I can use DNN as
a framework to do this.
I think I am going to use Private Secured Web Site Registration. I also figured every user in DNN have an ID associated with each user in DNN framework database. I would like also to associate customer_id to this DNN id so when user request
some data from database, this customer's ID will be used in all sql calls.
So my question is following: Is there a module in DNN I can use, that will associate a DNN generated id to the customer_id ia already have. And if not what will be the best approach to solve my problem.
