I'd like to package a number of files into a zip file that I want to position on the root.
For example, if I wanted to package js files to put in the "js" folder or put files in the "controls" folder.
I understand that the element <resourcefile> can be used to extract a zip file within the desktop module folder.
However, as I understand it this doesn't allow for placement on the root or elsewhere.
For example, If I use the file element below will it unzip the files into the folder in the path defined?
If not, why not? It makes sense to me to be able to define as many zip files as needed containing images, scripts etc and to place them wherever one chooses.
At the moment I'm manually placing the files. I'd prefer to be able package everything for distribution.

Thanks for the reply.
I understand the stance you present for security reasons, but its not the answer I wanted to hear... *Smile*
I guess I'll just have to create a nested module folder such as :
-- -- Module
-- -- Common
