I thought you could just follow the instructins.. as I thought this changed was made in 3.1 or 3.1.1
since this is the first time I want the 'missing modules'
per documentation (are they not already under /install?)
Adding the Installation package to the appropriate folder under /Install.
The /Install folder has a number of sub-folders. Zip files placed in these folders cam be installed by browsing to the url
“Install/Install.aspx?mode=InstallResources”, or through the Install Resources Scheduled Event.
If installed using the Install page, a status report similar to the one shown below is produced.
I get this... when I browse to the url
nothing is installed. Yes I could do one at a time but I want them all. I wouldnt mind this as a setup option in web.config maybe...

Do you have the AutoUpgradeflag set to True in your web config?
Also make sure you have the PAs you want to install under Install/Modules...
Hope I understood your question and that this helps!

Here is what I do;
After I have DNN up and installed successfully. I ftp all the contents of the /Install/Modules from my system to the /Install/Modules folder on server
then I browse to;
this will install all the modules.
Hope this helps and is what you were after.
