The tutorial over at dnnjungle is also quite good, although it uses codesmith. I've only just started out not doing overley well at the moment, I haven't actually done the one above but i'd recomend dnnjungles attempt also.

see shauns post regarding how to make a module in dnn 4 is good - only if your making a simple module like the "widget". but if the module youre making involves several tables and sprocs and ascx files - it doesnt cut it.
developermcdba's post regarding the new controls in 2.0 are awsome indeed! but like what jbasebal3 is asking - how do you convert them into a dnn 4 module.. ??

Todd davis has some good videos out on module development, but they are not geared toward dnn4...still useful, however.
