I've recently gotten into the DNN community and decided to try my hand at developing a custom module. So far, I've installed DNN 3.2.0 onto my computer and downloaded the visual studio and code smith templates from DNNjungle.
I created a project using the module template in visual studio 2003. I did the minimum amount necessary (referenced dotNetNuke.dll, set output path for build libraries, removed the loading code from the view controls onLoad event) to see if I could even get
the module to display in the portal. Following the tutorial videos found on the dotNetNuke.com website, I added a definition to my module and loaded it onto a page.
It seems like all the controls in the module (the drop down menu, the minMax box, the add new item link at the bottom left, and the control itself) threw exceptions. As soon as the control was added to the page, Three module load exceptions popped up.
You can see a screenshot of the mess
If anyone could point me in the right direction to solving this issue, that would be great. Thanks in advance.
