Trust levels have changed between 1.1 and 2.0 -- ASP.NET 2.0 in a shared hosting environment runs in "medium trust". By definition, trust levels are set at the system/admin level and you cannot override them with your own application web.config
You have a few options:
Force your app to run with ASP.NET 1.1 and if your host allows full trust with 1.1 it should work
Request your host to allow your ASP.NET 2.0 app to run in "full trust" (unlikely a good host would do this)
Determine why your app needs full trust. Most likely, you can change your code to avoid unnecessary operations that are attempting to run in full trust.
Change hosting companies.
Consider using a dedicated server or a virtual machine hosting account to allow you full control over your application's hosted run-time environment.
