Whenever I create a DNS resource record through the MPS web interface, I get the following error:
Error: Server encountered an internal error. For more information, turn on customErrors in the server's .config file.
<errorContext description="Server encountered an internal error. For more information, turn on customErrors in the server's .config file." code="0x80131500" executeSeqNo="33" >
<errorSource namespace="DNS Provider" procedure="CreateResourceRecord" />
<errorSource namespace="Windows-based Hosting" procedure="CreateResourceRecord" />
Although an error is generated...... if you inspect the DNS Server record entries.... the new record appears. The web interface has no problem deleting the record. I enabled the customErrors in the config file, but it did not show anything else with respect
to errors or error codes.

There are a couple of thoughts about this. One is that the DNS server might not be able to resolve back to the MPS server to provide a status report. Turn on tracing on the provider and on the DNS server to get more info.
Another thought is to make sure you are using FQDNs (i.e.
www.company.com versus www) for the record names.
Let me know what you find out.

I have resolved it.The record name should be FQDN
