As for Prov01, you could load balance those servers. What you would be load balancing is the web application or web service on top. The MPF Client has it's own method of load balancing when there are more than one MPF Client and Engine.
As for the MPS server, the MPF engine handles it's own load balancing. So if you install the MPF Client on two machines (example: prov01 and prov02) and install the MPF Engine on two machines (examples: mps01 and mps02), then you'll have a pretty redundant
Now onto SQL and clustering...
MPS is cluster aware, but only for the SQL Databases that it uses. The MPF Engine itself will not take advantage of being installed on a cluster (again, it handles that all internally), but it does understand clusters for use with the databases.
