Do you have a BlogID and is your EditURL exposed as a public function? - The syntax there assumes that you do have a BlogID (usually via a datagrid ) being passed back.

I would assume that the editURL is public. Again, this was copied out of the core teams work, and is not in my code. Perhaps that's my problem? I need editURL in my codebehind? Yes, I have a BlogID which is part of my InfoItem on the page.

Have you resolved your issues? I am now going through what you went through. I am also watching the Seabury Video. LOL Oh, what exactly is the difference between EditUrl and EditURL?

I have not exactly figured out how to get it to work, but I can answer your question.
c# is case sensitive, therefore the difference between EditUrl and EditURL is that one is a function and one is a "typo"
EditUrl is defined in IModuleBase...

Hi kevonh, from what I know, DataBinder.Eval is needed because it is the connector to our Data.Item, "BlogID", that is why we can't simply use Convert.ToString ( ). Someone correct me if I am wrong. -a8le

Just as a Followup... DNN 4 has templates for module creation... and here is the line in question, straight from the "CoreCode" team *happy dance*
<%# EditUrl("ItemID",((int)DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem,"ItemID")).ToString()) %>
I notice there are a few minor differences between this and what I was trying to do before. Most notibly the casting it to an int, then the .ToString() at the end.
