I have a DNN module for doing online tests. I'm using IE 6.
If you click on a LinkButton to correct the questions the page is posted back to the server, and if I see the trace of the HTTP request, the postback doesn't make my browser to request the skin and container images another time (as expected, showing the posted
However, I have another LinkButton to show the manual, and when clicked it makes two things:
* href: __doPostback() to postback the page as the user has clicked on the LinkButton and update the DB to reflect that the user has looked up the manual.
Everything is working properly but it takes a lot of time to open the new window and show the posted page in the old window because now, if I see the trace of the HTTP request, my browser is requesting the skin and container images and waiting for a HTTP code
304 (not changed). I want to avoid that innecesary check to improve speed but I can't figure out why this is happening because when the "correct current questions" link button is clicked it also makes a __doPostback() and it doesn't check if the images have
