I downloaded the IE Web Controls source code release! after I downloading I follwed the below guildelines from README.
To build the IE Web Controls:
1. Make sure you have installed the .NET Framework SDK v1.0 or v1.1
2. Run Build.bat, which will create a build folder in this directory.
The build folder contains Microsoft.Web.UI.WebControls.dll and a
Runtime directory of supporting files.
After following the second step, I didnt find the "Microsoft.Web.UI.WebControls.dll " in the build folder!!!
any help highly appreciated..

This version is a bit outdated (no longer *.msi).
Click on "Downloads" tab above to find the latest IEWC version.
And compile your own dll as said in readme.txt

Here's what you need to do.
1. Uncheck the read only on the build.bat file.
2. Replace this line:
csc.exe /out:build\Microsoft.Web.UI.WebControls.dll @IEWebControls.rsp
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\csc.exe /out:build\Microsoft.Web.UI.WebControls.dll @IEWebControls.rsp
3. Save the file and then run the batch file again.
Hope this helps.
