I saw early demos using WebService.asmx?JS to include Web Methods, now, it is changed to WebService.asmx/JS. If you have a look in the debugger you will see in the running document list:

I believe the "?" had to change because of the need to be compatible with Indigo, the forthcoming web services platform. Use of the "?" character would have created some collision or issue with Indigo. The "/" character was probably used instead because
it is a standard pathinfo operator and it works in this context without raising other issues.

I thought this. Ok, we have to live with that behavior.
Maybe this is a bug in Visual Studio, because if we are using /webservice.asmx/js we will be in a "subfolder", and Visual Studio should display this in a subitem in the tree of running documents.
