For myself, I find it easier to code a simple custom module than it is to write a good complete custom skin package.
I say it would be hard to meet the deadline unless you find pretty much what you want already in a package. Then just make "tweaks" to that to customize it.
The good news is you can always upload new skins over the old as you improve versions of your design.

Im very new to DNN, and have been given the task of designing an intranet site by Monday wk (5th Sept)
Im waiting for some one to install it for as Im a bit of a divy when it comes to .net and sql (a great start!)
I have to come up with some designs for next tuesday, so im wondering how easy it is to apply designs. I dont want to use something directly from one of the templates as that would be quite in profesh'
