Thanks, does the signup code create portal? I'm looking for a way to create portal/check portal existence from my code...
There is one thing I do not understand regarding the modules. Does the full custom application logic has to reside in one module or can it be split between several modules? For example One module would show Artists, second playlists, third Albums, another
would be to upload mp3 etc. With the module does it always have to be everything in one small window? I do not like this type of design, it is more like java applet... I would like my application to share different modules for different functionality/view
so user can rearange each module on the page or hide modules he does not use. However this would be like a set of different modules (I'm planning about 15) withing one application. It just seems very time consuming to create 15 modules each with it's own provider...
Is this the right direction???
And thanks, I got the templates already.

Brian - I've had some other pressing issues and there are still two elements with the wizard that are not working - which I initially thought were 3.013 bugs, but it appears that isn't the case, it sends a blank email upon registration - I think that warrants
not being ready for sale.
Based on your track record for ripping through the forums consistently being negative on every single level, you scare me ... If this is the behaviour of a person in an open source environment, I fear could be the sort of person that wears me to the ground
with complaints about the fact it's not perfect. I won't be selling to you based on how you attack everything, so what hope have I got to ever make you happy - no one has yet.. - so feel free to make your path - or buy Mark Hoskins Portal Replicator - or
I believe .. there's something similar at Onyatek.
For the last few months I've struggled and juggled things around, to the best of my skills, time and abilities.. I work with different people and there are time constraints to which I am doing my best.. I've been let down by cutechat with their module
I had paid to get converted to PA and find now in DNN3, it's not practical to sell as PA - as it doesn't install correctly, and I have had to get my commercial work done as well. I obviously made a mistake in timing, but no one came forward with money and
said - here Nina - I really want it and I'll pay/help to get it done.
Armand is correct in part.. Yes there has been a demo - and it has been trialled - I haven't received the last PA, so it still has bugs in it that stop me from saying - here - buy it..
The module will not be sold with source, and will be sold with a set of 5 skin themes all upgradable. It will be between $300 - $1500 and we have great plans for it..But my business is not big enough to release and support modules that are
not finished, it makes no sense in doing this - or perhaps I'm missing something here.
That's how she sees it at this stage!

I never get this source/PA thing ( for mos products ), if its a professional product it deserves a professional price. People easily pay 1k or morefor 3rd party menu objecsfrom telerik, component art or other vendors without source .But they complain about
products for dnn that are a fraction of that price, yet have more functionality. This is the main complain I hear from people. They wont take the dive into dnn because the market is not the best to start ( standard asp.net markt is much bigger and they dont
have the complaining about source or not ) in if you wanna make aliving out of it.
The wizzard class is undestandable enough and in a week you have one that buillds a portal in a few steps but the time goes into the whole flow and structure of a professional solution. There was a thread that had sourcode posted to do this in a very basic
setup just search or check back nd you will find it, I remeber the avatar of the poster in question to be a big boldgradient backgound. But there were someproblems with it.
I havent seen Nina's new pricelist yet but I think the price varations ( 300 to 1500 ) willbe in the amount of skins and support. Nina is not a coder ( yet ) so its agppd adittion to herservices offering,. So it would be more suitable as a portalhosting in
a box type solution, so isntallt he modle install the skins and start seling portal hosting . Thats what my clients will use it for they don care about source or price, they just wat tohave a no hassle way of selling childportals with predefined verical market
content and skins. It should do everything , they only want tosee the money coming in.
If this is your need then XDPortalwizard will be great product, if you are looking for a quick solution like the originalposter i would say check the through the other threads and look for the ode posting of the big gradient avatar :)
