Thanks for the advice, but I didn't really get far. When I press the either Submit Button (Login.aspx) or the Register button (Register.aspx) nothing happens, I've place a break point inside the first line of code for aspx pages (events) and I can't even
get to the break-point.
Also I had to take out the following code from the web.config file:
This then allowed me to at least go to the Register page, but I still get nothing when fill the form and hit the submit button. I do get error messages if I leave and of the fields blank (passords, email adress etc)
As requested I'll email you the HTML as I can't copy it to this page. I haven't changed any code and in fact I re-downloaded the code to make sure I didn't do anything.

It just does nothing, it doesn't even look like it's refreshing the screen. I get the little finger when I hover over the buttom but nothing happens when I click.

Try double clicking on the button to get to the code behind page as Vs seems to have a minor bug in it, if u have cut and paste the button to a new location this can happen, ensure u double click on the button to get to the code behind as this seems to refresh
the aspx and the vb code behind connection see if that works.

Well when this has happend to me and the double clicking on the button to get to the code behind did not work,
I have had to resort to renaming the offending form in Vs and the adding a new web form don't copy the old 1 add anew 1 and name it the same as the old form and then adding the controls from the tool box u must do it this way don't cut and paste the controls
or u will end up with the same probem, then cut and paste all the code behind and the Html code into your new form and that has always fixed it for me.
I know it's a pain but unless any1 can tell me better way thats what I have had to do.
I think it must be a bug in VS never been able to work out why it dos it or a better fix, when it's happend to me it has usually been when I have done a lot of chopping and changeing about,
Good Luck cos if that don't work I have no idea what to do

I'll give this a try, although I'm away for 3 days. But at least I'm getting somewhere, I also think it might have something to do with version of Internet Explorer. I'm currently on V6 and inside VS it looks for V5. I'll give it a try and get back to you
Just like to say thanks to all you guys.
