So after giving up on installing the gallery on 3.0.13, i've decided to give it another try - this time on a fresh install of 3.1
I've changed the .dnn file so it installs correctly - this is fine now
But when i insert the module into a page, i get the following error:
I've tried deleting and reinstalling the module numerous times
I've tried the maintenance fix, replacing gallery_headertext with just headertext in about 6 spots
What else can i try? why is this happening to me? its a fresh install - no other data on this installation
i'm honestly so stuck here... please, if somebody can help me get this going, i would be very very very happy!
if not, can somebody suggest a (decent) gallery i can buy, that works?

Thanks for the info Nina... i actually managed to get it working. All the ascx files had been put in a directory called Temp... when i moved them back to the Gallery root directory, it worked. Weird that they'd get copied to the wrong place.. maybe cos
i named my zip file Temp.zip??
Now struggling to work out how to use the stupid gallery, but that's another story alltogether.. expect some more posts from me soon. :P
I'll check out the other module you mentioned too - thanks for the tip

Awesome, that all sounds great... i've subscribed to Scott's site, and playing around with his gallery system now... while its much simpler than TTT gallery, with less features, i think its a much better fit for my client, who is not very computer literate,
and really doesn't need much more than what SimpleGallery offers... so thanks for the tip :)
Can't get zip file upload working, but i'll contact scott about that.. looking forward to having a play with his other modules though.. and great to hear about the regular updates. :)
