We are trying to covert the existing project to DNN. In this case, do we have to change all the table structures (by all means) to have it in DNN? Are the [ProtalID, ModulelID] and BlogID (table's ID) are MUST???.
I have a lot of tables without even any IDs column in it. Is it possible to create a DNN Portal without changing the existing table structures?? Pls help me the earliest possible.
Thanks in advance

The PortalID and ModuleID fields might not be necessary in every table but they are definitely a requirement in at least the primary tables in your database, the reasons are.
First of all you need the portal ID since DNN can have multiple portals per installation and the only way there would be to determine if the Blog entry or setting was part of the Blog
module on portal 0 or the Blog module on portal 1 is by having a portalID in the table.
Secondly since it is a module that in theory can exist on more than one page per portal, it’s important to have the ModuleID so that a Blog entry / setting can be related back to the
specific module it is intended for.
Hope that helps.
