OmniPortal is now running on ASP.NET 2.0. I have incorporated Master pages, and boy was that a chore figuring out how they are actually constructed and then duplicating that. However it is done and the code is running splendidly on ASP.NET 2.0. The next
job is to include some of the cool new features of ASP.NET such as WebParts and Membership Roles. If interested let me know and I will tell you how you can get a copy.
Yeah, I would love to get my hands on it. I am gathering a couple people in my User Group who wanna get going on updating the torontoug.net website and this seems to be the right place to start updating the code. Not only that but it get my butt in gear
for learning the next version of .NET. So let me know where I can get it and what your strategy is for converting the OmniPortal completely to .NET V2. I just need to make sure we have the URL rewriting as I run 3 websites off my domain, and I need to keep
(well really expand) the event registration and the newsletter capabilities of the old GCN system.
Anyways let me know

The only problem with fiction is that it has to make sense...that is what makes reality so wonderful, it has no such constraint!
If you can wait a day I can get the copy ready and Post it to source forge. I will put an announcement out on this post when I have completed the packaging. I have had a couple people asking for the code, so I thought I woud put together a formal beta release.
Thanks for the interest, and I hope to get chatting with people again about the direction of GCN 2.0.

不知道我用中文会不会有问题.
最近在看 OmniPortal ,但是相关的资料太少了,用的人也少.能否在这里获取点帮助?
谢谢!
